About Blomblaum™

I was born in Rome – the very same city where astronaut Michael Collins, one of the crew of Apollo 11, first saw the light of day. Maybe that explains why I’ve always felt the pull to explore, whether it’s new countries, new cultures, or entire new worlds you dive into with your heart and mind.

For years I worked online as a seller, flipping products from one side of the world to the other. It paid the bills, sure, but passion? Not really. Sitting in front of a screen for endless hours made me realise something important: life isn’t about buying for one and selling for two.

That’s when travel – and the way we experience it – became my obsession. I started to notice the little things: how languages can mess with your head (in Polish “no” means “yes”), how underwater a thumbs-up doesn’t mean “like” but “let’s go back up”. Every world has its own secret language.

Blomblaum™ grew from that spark: a playful way of exploring. Blom means “I like it”, blaum means “not really my vibe”. From wandering Istanbul’s colourful streets to dreaming of my first-ever first-class flight (yes, I’m saving that one for the full blom-blaum treatment), I want to bring you along for the ride.
